Amazon.com Product Description Elegant contours and contrasting silver and black tones lend eye-pleasing effects to the Women's Black and Silver-Tone Sport Watch from Armitron. Defined by its unique shape, the silver-tone case frames a small, silver sunray dial edged in black. With clear, easy-to-read, black Arabic numbers that stand out against the white of the outer dial, this sleek watch also features a sweep second hand in a colorful, red accent and white dot indexes marking the hours on the black edge. Securing to the wrist with a flexible and durable, black resin strap that fastens with a silver-tone buckle, this slender watch offers precise quartz movement and a water-resistant depth of 165 feet (50 meters).

A cheap watch that goes the distance for you and has a slim line January 8, 2008 Gen of North Coast Gardening (California) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I am a landscaper and I put these watches through a lot. I have them in pink, blue, purple, and black, and each one has lasted me years. I get them dirty and wet on a daily basis, they get hot, they get cold, and they keep on working and rarely need a new battery even. I finally retired my last two when my new kittens chewed BOTH wristbands off in a matter of two days!
So as long as you keep these away from feisty kittens, you should enjoy these watches for a long time. They aren't the prettiest things ever, but they have a sporty and slim look that is appealing, and the thinness of the watch head and the band are both elements that are hard to find in an inexpensive watch. I hate when watchbands stick out too far from my wrist, and these are the slimmest ones I have found.
Recommended for anyone needing a sporty, slim, tough watch.
The one caveat is that the black one has a white ring around the face with a silver circle in the center, while the colored ones have a colored ring with a colored shimmery circle in the center that is a bit cooler to look at. So the black one looks a bit less stylish than the others in this line. I bought it knowing this and am happy with it all the same.
Most reliable watch ever! October 26, 2008 A. Kerry 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
this watch is so great that when the band broke on my first one (after wearing it everyday for 5 years) i bought the same watch!
A very good value January 13, 2009 Shawn Stuart (Indiana) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I kinda used to be a watch snob. I had a pretty nice watch that broke, so I bought this one to temporarily tide me over until I found something I really liked. I didn't expect much for the price, so I was actually pretty suprised that it kept ticking after being submerged in water and snow, worn every day and smacked against hard surfaces multiple times. The steel parts on it are a little scratched, but the lens part remarkably shows no wear. It doesn't look half bad either. I prefer simple and elegent designs like this, and I like how it's small and stays out of the way. I'm really curious to see just how long this little $14 number will keep ticking. I still have yet to get a new fancy-pants watch, and y'know what? As hard as I am on watches, I probably shouldn't get anything more expensive than this anyway.
The best June 6, 2009 A. Vulliet (Dan Diego, Ca.) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is the first "ladies" watch I was willing to buy because it was sleek and simple visually. I was leaving on a trip when my watch died, so I bought this one to tie me over. That was 3 years ago and the watch is still going strong. I have put it through it's paces with abuse doing construction, and finally the band has started to crack.I am so pleased with it's stamina and looks that I looked it up to replace it, and now will buy 2. The only negative, the hands could have more contrast against the background.
Armitron Sport watch July 2, 2009 Knitnut (N. Chelmsford, Ma.) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love this watch!!! It's light, not bulky at all as sport watches are, I have a very small wrist. Best of all, on a hot sweaty day, it can be washed!! I read somewhere that it comes in other colors than black & pink. I would buy em all!!
